The fine print, made clear
Service Terms
Sitewell — Website Build & Monthly Management. Last updated September 2026. These terms apply when you ask us to build a website for your business or start a monthly website plan with Sitewell, a trade name of SMC Family Enterprises LLC. By approving your website or starting a monthly plan, you agree to them.
1.How it works
You give us the go-ahead and your business details. We build your website — typically five pages with your logo, photos, clear contact links, quote form, and Google Business Profile setup — and send you a preview link.
You don't pay anything until you've seen the site and approved it. If you don't like it, you owe nothing. We'll make one round of changes; if it's still not right, we part ways with no charge.
2.Pricing
Build fee: $899 one time, due when you approve the site. The site goes live once it's paid.
Monthly plan: $199 per month, starting the day the site goes live. That covers hosting and security updates, one content update per month, a monthly report of calls, form submissions, and Google views, and email support within two business days.
Larger changes are quoted separately before we start them.
3.Billing
The monthly plan is billed automatically to the card on file every 30 days. There's no minimum term.
Failed payments are retried. If a payment is still unpaid after 14 days, the site may be taken offline until it's paid.
4.Cancelling
Cancel anytime by email to hello@sitewelldesigns.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current 30-day billing period.
No further charges after that, and no prorating of the period you're in. The site is taken offline at the end of the period.
5.Your domain name
If we register a domain for you, it belongs to you. We hold it in our registrar account for convenience and renew it as part of your plan.
On cancellation or on request we transfer it to your registrar within 10 business days at no charge. Registrars require that domains be at least 60 days old before a transfer. If you already own your domain, it stays in your account.
6.Your website
Your content — business name, logo, photos, text, reviews — stays yours. The design, layout, code, and templates are ours, licensed to you for as long as you're on a monthly plan.
If you don't go ahead, or you cancel later, we don't hand over the site files. We do return your content and transfer your domain.
7.What we need from you
Your business details, photos, and reviews. Delays getting those to us delay the preview.
You're responsible for having the rights to whatever you give us, and for it being accurate.
8.Uptime and changes
We use reputable hosting, but no one can promise zero downtime and we don't.
If we change pricing or these terms, you get 30 days' notice by email first.
9.Limits
Our total responsibility for any issue is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it came up. We're not responsible for lost business or other indirect losses.
We don't guarantee any number of calls, leads, or customers from your website.
10.Privacy
We collect only what's needed to build and run your site and to bill you: your business details, the content you send us, and your contact and payment information.
We don't sell your information. Payment details are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
11.The basics
These terms are governed by Arizona law, and any dispute goes to the courts in Maricopa County, Arizona.
If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
